Georgia AAU Boys
Age Guideline is based on 8/31/2016.
7 & UNDER DIVISION An athlete can be no older than 7 on August 31, 2016.
8 & UNDER DIVISION An athlete can be no older than 8 on August 31, 2016.
9 & UNDER DIVISION An athlete can be no older than 9 on August 31, 2016.
10 & UNDER DIVISION An athlete can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2016.
11 & UNDER DIVISION An athlete can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2016.
12 & UNDER DIVISION An athlete can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2016.
13 & UNDER DIVISION An athlete can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2016.
14 & UNDER DIVISION An athlete can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2016.
15 & UNDER DIVISION An athlete can be no older than 15 on August 31, 2016.
16 & UNDER DIVISION An athlete can be no older than 16 on August 31, 2016.

4TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2014 and can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2016. For an
athlete that is in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2014 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2016.
5TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2014 and can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2016. For an
athlete that is in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2014 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2016.
6TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2014 and can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2016. For an
athlete that is in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2014 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2016.
7TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2014 and can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2016. For an
athlete that is in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2014 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2016.
8TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2014 and can be no older than 15 on August 31, 2016. For an
athlete that is in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2014 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2016.
9TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2014 and can be no older than 16 on August 31, 2016. For an
athlete that is in the 10th grade as of October 1, 2014 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 15 on August 31, 2016

4th GradeA player must be in the 4th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 12 prior to September 1, 2016
5th GradeA player must be in the 5th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 13 prior to September 1, 2016
6th GradeA player must be in the 6th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 14 prior to September 1, 2016
7th GradeA player must be in the 7th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 15 prior to September 1, 2016
8th GradeA player must be in the 8th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 16 prior to September 1, 2016
9th GradeA player must be in the 9th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 17 prior to September 1, 2016

4th Grade
A player must be in the 4th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 12 prior to September 1, 2016.
5th Grade
A player must be in the 5th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 13 prior to September 1, 2016.
6th Grade
A player must be in the 6th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 14 prior to September 1, 2016.
7th Grade
A player must be in the 7th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 15 prior to September 1, 2016.
8th Grade
A player must be in the 8th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 16 prior to September 1, 2016.
9th Grade
A player must be in the 9th grade or under as of October 1, 2015 and cannot turn 17 prior to September 1, 2016.
Note: If a player exceeds an age limit for any grade level, that player must play at the next highest grade level in
which their age meets the requirement.
